Spicy Honey-Brushed chicken thighs
Spicy Honey-Brushed Chicken Thighs...
also know as chicken nuggets in our house. Sweet, spicy and super delicious, these thighs get barbecue-like flavor with the convenience of the broiler. These nuggets are a big hit at football parties or you can dress them up as an appetizer on a bed of arugula and shaved cabbage with dipping sauce.
2 tsp of garlic powder
2 tsp of chili powder
1 tsp of ground cumin
1 tsp of paprika
3/4 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of ground red pepper
8 skim less chicken thighs
6 TBS of honey
2 tsp of cedar vinegar
First, preheat the broiler and then combine the first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. Add chicken to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Now, place the chicken on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray. Broil for 5 minutes on each side. Combine honey and vinegar in a small bowl, stirring well. Next, remove the chicken from the oven and crush 1/4 cup of honey mixture over chicken. Broil for 1 minute. Remove from the oven and turn over. Brush chicken with remaining honey mixture. Finally, broil an additional 1 minute or until chicken is done.
